I have a feeling on this one.

I have the solution if you want it. (I ended up solving only after getting significant help from the puzzle creator).

The link to the actual puzzle is: http://www.yark.org/puzzle/digest/

(For those that tried the puzzle the first time, note that the guy who runs the site has adjusted the difficulty rating so that the Holmes puzzle is now considered harder than the "Rock" puzzle.)

Could you please PM me the answer?

Thanks.

Heh. After the "blizzard" puzzle in the series, I shrugged my shoulders and walked away from this one. From what I could gather, there were not all that well-constructed puzzles... really not worth the aggregate effort that we put into them.

Maple Leafs, if you don't mind sharing the answer (by PM or whatever means you find appropriate) I suppose I'd be interested. It's certainly possible that I/we just missed the whole thing... and that there's a legit puzzle underneath it all.

I would like a PM but I don't see any reason why you could not re-post the puzzle and then the answer here. It's not like we are working on it.

I would like a PM of the answer too, please. Or just post it as Anrhydeddu suggest.

Please just post it. I'd be interested to see what the answer was.

Here's a walkthrough for those who might want to take one last shot at solving it. I'll post the answer later today or tonight.

It's basically a three part puzzle.

Part one: rearrange the odd text strings into a 9x9 square to form a word search
Part two: figure out what you're searching for (there's no word list anywhere) and find all the words. There are clues as to what to look for in the text, and once you find a few you'll figure out what the theme is. I had to google several of the answers.
Part three: Use the completed word search to build a sentence that suggests the final answer.

How about posting the puzzle again?

Hmmm... I got it, and it really isn't quite as bad as I had resigned myself to believing. Thanks for the hint, rather than an outright answer.

And once again... he plopped in a fair little hint (The "Dr. Ellis" name seemed to stick out, I just couldn't place it) that was wholly unnecessary to actually solve the puzzle, much like the "frostbite" puzzle from that page. Clever, but maybe too subtly so.

As promised: the answer can be found here (http://www.yark.org/puzzle/digest/i_have_no_mouth.shtml).
