Since it's playoff time...
Apparently there's a major storm coming through Seattle tonight, with rain and very high winds (25-35 mph, with gusts up to 65 mph).
May want to reconsider starting any kickers, quarterbacks or receivers in this one.

It's really stormy right now, but I heard the big winds weren't supposed to hit until after the game.

All right. I just dumped Vernon Davis for Tony Scheffler based on this report.
The onus is on you, Maple Leafs. On. You.

I just dumped Deion Branch in favor of Isaac Bruce because of this... I hope the weather report is accurate (I've seen similar reports on weather dot com's site.)

Looks about right. Little bit darker where I'm at though (more downtown).

Apparently it's pouring, but the wind isn't bad at all out at the stadium right now. If you have the NFL network you can check it out, they're broadcasting live.

Help me out - Romo or Hasselbeck?

I've been agonizing all day about whether to play Deion Branch or not because of the weather. I picked up Mason and was considering playing him, the other option to pick up was Henry. I'd really like to play Branch, but if the winds are really going to be that bad, that doesn't bode well. So, should I roll the dice and play Branch

A lot of folks over at FBG have the same dilemna. Most seem to be leaning to Romo now, but are watching the weather right up until game time.

Wind is now picking up, rain is coming down in buckets. The word "monsoon" seems to be coming up a lot.
Edit: They just lost power in the stadium. It's back on now. There's talk of delaying the kickoff.

I'm benching Hasselback, and would do the same for any WRs of PKs in this game. In a pinch I think you could start V. Davis but even that might be stretching it.
The RBs should be fine, though. The defences... no idea, it would depend on the scoring system.

Hmm they're saying that for now, the game is suspended because the weather is causing "bubbles" on the field.
I can honestly say I've not seen too many NFL games suspended...
