Here comes the snow. They say it will be the biggest storm since '96. I went out and got all the neccesary supplies ( beer, chips, pizza, and some candles). Ready to batten down the hatches.

How much did you get so far Lathum? I haven't heard officially but just took my dogs out for a walk and it looks like close to a foot already and no signs of letting up.

Mostly miserable, with a chance of just crappy. At least we aren't burried in snow though.

It's great with all this snow. Got to go outside and let the dog play in the snow. The smaller of the two hates the snow, the other one loves it. She was running around diving over snow piles, hated coming back into the house.

You can still see your deck? :)

So far it hasn't reached our apartment door...yet....of course I do live on the seventh floor, so....

But the weather people keep saying it is only have done, so there is still time.

In North Carolina, we're just getting a bunch of sleet and ice. I'd rather have the snow.

34 and raining in the A-T-L. Ugly. Just plain ugly. Even sleet and ice is better than this, 'cause at least it is interesting.

Idaho is sunny, about 45 degrees. Think I might wear shorts tomorrow.

Where in Idaho? I spent a week rafting the Middle Fork - best week of my life.

Twin Falls. South central G. Right smack dab in the middle of the desert but if you head north for an hour or south for 20 minutes you run smack dab in to mountains. Plus I could see the snake river canyon from where I am sitting if there wasn't a wall in the way :)

bah - 8 to 10 inches more on top of the 2 feet that's been sitting in my yard for 2 months is nothing.

Here in Charlotte NC we got some freezing rain.. Oh what I wouldn't do for a half inch of snow so the city would shut down and i won't have to go to work tommorow.

Im from Michigan but live in Philly now. Everyone was crying about the snow and how tough it was to drive in. Dont be an ass and floor it at lights, allow plenty of room to stop and slow down on curves. TAAAAAAAAA DAAAAAAAA you can drive in the snow!

No snow here. It hasn't snowed in Akashi for the two years I've been here. They've had something they called snow two or three times. It looks something like snow coming down but melts as soon as it touches the ground.

I'm surprised. In the Triad, we got a least a half inch of ice. I'm not venturing anywhere tomorrow.

Blackadar,

Where in the Triad are you at. I live in Oak Ridge and I have about 2 inches of sleet. Sucks though, cuz I wasn't suppose to work tomorrow anyway because of President's Day.

scc, about 10 miles South of you off of 68 right at the GSO/HP line. Maybe it is up to an inch or two, but it's sleet and ice and I'm not even going to try to drive.

Looks like the worst is over and perhaps just some spotty precip tonight.
