Just wondering. I've got my phone playing the first 15 seconds of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps".

I'm sure most of you just have whatever came on the phone, but just wondering.

I use Audacity (hxxp://audacity.sourceforge.net) to cut out parts of MP3s for my ringtones. My default tone is the beginning of Santeria. I have a bunch of other ones based on who is calling me.

I just got a new phone from Verizon Wireless - the LG VX 8600 - and it is locked down so that you cannot upload your own ringtones or creat your own ringtones. If you want something different than the default beeps, you gotta buy them. Fark Verizon.

And stock ringtones also can't be annoying? I haven't met a person yet that didn't get a smile on their face when they hear my phone ring. Don't hate the customized ringtone because some abuse the privilege with dumb, annoying songs...
