And the fire is so delightful. Since we've no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
That's right, the blizzard is here. The weathermen are calling for up to two feet.

That's good news. It's been a couple of years since Northern New Mexico got a significant amount of snow. Hopefully that keeps up over the next few months so that the drought breaks and there is a lot of snow pack to make it through the spring and summer.

Definitely. The forecast for the winter looks quite promising. Also, we got more rain in our monsoon season than we had in quite a few years. In fact, flooding was a real problem in some places, like Hatch.

I'm really hoping that storm swings in this direction to drop some snow here. They're forecasting more rain and freezing rain though.

Yeah, I hate snow too. I can't believe I moved back north, after living in the warm south for a long time.

Must be nice, it's supposed to hit +5˚C to +8˚C which means all our lovely outdoor ice will be melting and not usable for at least another week of -10˚ or worse temps.
Stupid warm snaps.

It really depends on where in the state you are talking about. Albuquerque doesn't get very much, and it melts pretty fast. Santa Fe and Los Alamos get quite a bit of snow, I think basically as much as Denver/Boulder.
