Thank you, Secret Santa!!!!

No idea who sent it...but one guess about who DIDN'T send it...JPhillips as he figures his won't be delivered until after Xmas. Now, he wouldn't be trying to throw us off, would he?

I found my gift outside my front door today, 2 books - The Boys of Winter, which I have been so close to buying many, many times! And a Sporting News coffee table book on college football venues with intro by Keith Jackson!

Very nice job, Secret Santa!

My best guess on the giver is MacroGuru, based on the return address.

You did an outstanding job. I am probably the most difficult person in the world to shop for. Whenever anybody asks me what I want, I'm completely stumped.

My secret santa sent me a little tabletop-size #12 Pats helmet. Hotstuff. Will look great in a number of places in my room, or I might even try to do something classy with it and kleenex to make it a tissue-holder.

Thanks!

(oh yeah and it arrived several days ago i've just been too busy+then lazy to post)

Better be careful, st. cronin will come steal it...and I don't think that he's gonna use the kleenex in the way that you would. ;)

Anyhow, glad you like it!

I'm guessing JPhil had me as my present came yesterday and had a last name of Phillips on the packing slip... yes, great detective skills I know! Thanks for the digital camera. At 300,000 pixels it'll work great for jobsite visits. My better half was getting upset that I was taking "our" camera to work everyday. Thanks dude!!!

I got a best buy gift certificate yesterday. I'm guessing it was Flasch that sent me mine. If so, I don't mind your lack of creativity at all as I enjoy getting gift certificates :)

I wasn't exactly creative in my gift selection as well, but I think/hope my recipient is enjoying their gifts.

I didn't participate in the gift exchange, but I just want you to know that that's a great DVD. What a series that was. I like watching the last two minutes of Game 7 just to see Daneyko on the ice for the final shift. Magical stuff.

Your gift wasn't from me, Airhog. Yours was though, Flasch... :)

UPS tried to deliver a package yesterday while I was at work but instead of leaving it at the front office like they usually do they decided to re-deliver it on Monday...when I'll be working again. So I have no idea when I'll actually get it. :(

I am saving it for my travel out in January, I will need something to watch while I am in Bentonville for a couple of days.

The gift was delievered before X-mas, but I left my apartment for my family's house on Dec. 22nd and did not return until yesterday.

Thanks to whomever sent me the Los Angeles Express t-shirt. My g/f told me it came from Throwback Max and I knew immediately it was something I would really like. Unfortunately, my g/f also threw away the package so I cannot speculate whom sent me the gift. But whoever it was, thank you very much!

Funny story, I was actually in the midst of ordering you a gift card for Tim Horton's (inspired by this thread: http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=48821&highlight=canadian+army ) when Joe sent the pm with your wish list.

LOL!!! Funny story, in the office, we were just talking about how hard it was to find Tim Horton's gift cards around here before Christmas...LOL!!! Somebody had to drive to 6 different stores to finally get one!!!

Either way...the T-Shirt or the Timmy's gift card...I'm a happy camper!!!

When it comes to buying gifts for people, I'm pretty unimaginative. Once in a while I come up with a good idea, but that is the exception, not the rule. So, I was a little nervous about doing something like this because I can barely think of something for the people I've known my whole life, let alone somebody I've never met!!! Alas, I had a wish list to go from, thank God, and picked something that I know I'd like and would be able to use around the house...wink, wink. (there's my hint as the person I bought for hasn't figured out who his gift came from yet...;))

I finally managed to get my gift from the UPS warehouse after an exhausting search by two brilliant workers last Wednesday. They asked if I knew if it was wine...something about the code indicated that...and that's when I told them it was a Christmas gift and I had no idea what it was. Whoops. Anyway, they finally found it and gave it to me, and I was very excited to see what kind of wine I had received. So I was VERY confused when a bottle came out that contained a clear liquid. Of course, when I turned the bottle around and saw that label my confusion turned into joy. For I had received a bottle of Tito's Handmade Vodka, great stuff that I had been extolling just a week or two before. The label didn't give me a name to go off of, but the phone number under my name wasn't mine, and the 224 area code makes me think my Secret Santa was none other than timmae! Thanks a bunch!

Hmmm...does it put me in amdaily territory that the bottle was gone in two days?!?! ;)
