As a slight twist on the usual post regarding league openings, I commish a league that has been running for 3 seasons now with a bunch of largely UK based players, which has previously not been opened to the wider FOF community. Well, with the arrival of FOF2007, we are looking for new GMs to come and join our league.

We’re a friendly, competitive league with good participation. We might not have the experience of some of the FOF players out there, but I think we’re a good league for people to join in and enjoy playing FOF.

We’re about to run week 15 of 2007 and plan to convert to FOF2007 at the end of the current season. We’re about half full but most of the open teams are in good shape.

So I’d like to invite anyone who’s interested to have a look at which teams are open http://www.tricey.net/rdfl/site/gms.php, check out the standings to see how the teams are doing and what their rosters look like http://www.tricey.net/rdfl/site/fof_html/2007standings.html and http://www.tricey.net/rdfl/site/fof_html/index.html and contact me at [email protected] if you’re interested. Ideally we’d like to have people on board prior to the move to FOF 2007 so that they have a chance to do any renegotiations of contracts.

Thanks

Marc.

Interesting. Anquan Boldin has played as quarterback for the Colts. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Presumably they had an injured quarterback as 3rd QB and the first two were knocked out somehow.

Pity. I'm really interested in a European time zone league, but I have too many other leagues I'm committed to.

Sounds like a great league - I just hope it's not one of those sham leagues where the 'commish' wins back-to-back SuperBowls in the first two year's since the league's inception...

Well keep us in mind, if I get the better of you in the NAFL then you can try your luck in my league where I'm Frisco :)

Just for anyone viewing this comment cold, it should be read with big [tongue in cheek] boxes around it. Tricey is a member of the league and it just joking around. I have won the first two bowl games but the entire playoffs for season 2 were run by the co-commish. And both wins were as a wildcard team so all on the road.

We are a genuine league with committed and friendly players, who would like to grow the league to include aother likeminded FOFers.

Marc.

Just to add that I think the league would be good for those looking to make their first steps into multiplayer FOF as it's a very relaxed league with very helpful GMs.

Yes, sorry. Forgot that some people might not get my irony! It helped Marc to get an early pick amongst QBs and select Tom Brady in the initial allocation draft, but at the time I was running the draft so there can be no accusation of bias.

I think you'll enjoy this league if you have a dry wit and an imagination. From what I've read on this forum, that's pretty much all of you.
