Sully, one of the major admins over on OS, is gauging interest of OS members in starting a FOF 2007 MP League. I believe right now they have 10 or 11 members who are interested. I've been a member there for a few years and will probably join what should be a fun league and meet some guys who might not visit here much or at all. I just thought I'd let people know about it, in case any dual OS/FOFC people might want to join.

As Eaglesfan said, it's guaranteed to be a fun league. Most of us are relatively new to FOF, so we're learning on the fly. We're happy to have some experienced veterans of the series to help us along the way.
I believe we're up to 16 or 17 owners now. Most of them are OS regulars, and a few of us are in OOTP league together. We're looking forward to kicking this thing off, and anticipate many years of football.

Well heck, why didn't you say it was fictional. I would have been there two days ago!

I've never tried a fictional league. Will there be an allocation draft?

We'll be using the preference draft feature.

I think we only have 2 spots remaining. We're looking to hold the preference draft just after the new year. Don't miss out!

I am a complete FOF newbie looking to start from scratch and learn up... If there is a spot I'd appreciate a chance to get my feet wet... Experienced in Madden coach leagues but tired of the ai busters there, so I got fof to give this a shot for my football fix...

We just filled our last available spot about 20 minutes ago. We're starting a waiting list.
We're giving the guys until next week to get their preference settings in before drafting. If some owners that haven't been active on the forums since registering don't get their settings in on time, we won't hesitate to replace them. The last thing we want to do is move forward with owners that don't care which type of team they draft.
The league is full of newbs to the series, so don't feel overwhelmed. We have some vets, but for the most part, a lot of us are doing this for the first time.

While I can't speak for any of the other vets, I know that I'm more than willing to offer general help to any of the newer players in the league. I'm trying to win, but I'm also looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing an enjoyable atmosphere.

Sounds cool. I'm not interested right now because I'm already busy with 4 MP leagues (2 with FOF), but I'm watching closely. I've always liked the OS boards, and always have found good content about Madden and NCAA. An OS/FOFC "partnership" could be a good thing.

Can I get on that waiting list? I always seem to miss the bus on these new leagues, but I have been ready for MP for about 3 years now.
