Time for the year in review - list whatever made your year good or bad:
Highs
- Getting married.
- Getting my wife pregnant
- Buying a new house
- Starting a much better job
- 2 weeks in Hawaii
- Tigers made it to World Series
Lows
- Spending most of the year in a bad job
- Georgia Tech's last two games
- Lots of unexpected expenses in a year of big planned expenses
- Continued loss of respect for public officials

-became a father
Lows
-everything else, while not really bad, basically ties for last

Highs:
- Buying our first home which hopefully will be our home for many years.
- Starting a new job in July where I'm much more happy and make more money.
- Getting my mom to finally fly for the first time in her life and visit us in Louisiana.
Lows:
- Things were ugly for a while at the old job.
- Family members that are still battling depression and other sequelae from Katrina.
- My favorite cousin having cancer at 29 years old.

Highs:
- Cardinals winning the World Series for the second time in my lifetime
- Finally feeling settled in Pennsylvania
- Getting a permanent job after a series of temporary assignments
- Watching my wife breeze through her first year as a professor (I'm extremely proud of her)
Lows:
- Getting more stressed out at this job than I ever have in my life, although things are improving
- Wrecking my car in the snow in March
- Additional car problems later in the year
- Losing touch with some good people I used to work with in Louisiana
- Discovering that I have a moderately severe dandruff problem (I just noticed this about 20 seconds ago)
Edit: Obviously, my life is not exactly exciting.

Highs:
-My brother made it back from Iraq.
-Because he came back with 4 ruptured discs and various other neurological problems, he won't ever have to be deployed again.
-Got a new job.
Lows:
-The new job immediately sent me on assignment to San Francisco, necessitating me flying out there once a week. Ugh.

-Bought a house, and got a new car
-hopefully have a good job(finally)
Lows
-Whole lot of the middle part of the year
-3 months of midnights at a plastics plant for near min wage
-Moving out of 2 apartments

-Promotions at work
-Watching my kids grow
-Family stayed healthy
Lows
-Not being invited to Jeebers wedding.
I need to get down on my knees and thank God for this year. It's been amazing.
