Highs:

- Cardinals winning the World Series for the second time in my lifetime
- Finally feeling settled in Pennsylvania
- Getting a permanent job after a series of temporary assignments
- Watching my wife breeze through her first year as a professor (I'm extremely proud of her)

Lows:

- Getting more stressed out at this job than I ever have in my life, although things are improving
- Wrecking my car in the snow in March
- Additional car problems later in the year
- Losing touch with some good people I used to work with in Louisiana
- Discovering that I have a moderately severe dandruff problem (I just noticed this about 20 seconds ago)

Edit: Obviously, my life is not exactly exciting.

Highs:

-My brother made it back from Iraq.
-Because he came back with 4 ruptured discs and various other neurological problems, he won't ever have to be deployed again.
-Got a new job.

Lows:

-The new job immediately sent me on assignment to San Francisco, necessitating me flying out there once a week. Ugh.
