Playoffs determination.

Something weird happened this season in my league. 4 teams in the AC finished 9-7. So 2 of these 4 teams made it to the playoffs. However, the 2 that got in were the ones with the easiest schedules? Also, one of the 2 teams that got in had lost to one of the teams that didn't. This seems real weird to me.

Anyone know if there is some factor in determining wild card teams that I'm missing?

If it is only 2 teams tied it goes Head to Head, division record (if in same division) then conference record.

If it is more than 2 teams, head to head only comes into play if all teams played each other. If not then I believe it's common opponents then conference record.

Schedule strength is after all this.

Yeah, strength of schedule is down on the list a ways, after a lot of common opponent and stuff like that.

FOF follows exactly the NFL tiebreakers, so check them out on NFL.com to see what they are.

The common one most people forget is if 2 of the wild card teams are from the same division, there is a mini-tiebreaker between those 2 to ditch one before you even compare them to the other teams that are tied. Thus, one wild card could have an awesome divisional or conference record but be out if it lost both games to the other tied team in its division.
