One problem with the "just one more turn" nature of this game is that you might be playing it when you are really too tired to be doing anything. Last night, I had maneuvered myself into a brilliant position with the #4 and #12 overall pics, just in time to see TEH QB OF TEH CENTURY sitting on the board. I quickly calculated that to move up I'd only need to use my 2nd and get his 3rd back while swapping the firsts. But when I went to do the deal, I STUPIDLY used both my firsts for his first and third. Of course the AI took that trade..

There's no undo button anywhere to erase my shame.

I tried going back to my last save, but it was just before the championship game the whole season before. Too many things wound up different, and the QB never appeared anyway. After 5 years, that guy (or one close to him) has never been back on the board..

So I've reverted to my original mistake game so I can at least have that QB on my team, but I COULD have also had the best WR to go along with him (I'd have had to move up to get him, but I would have..)

NO MORE SLEEPY-TIME PLAYING FOR ME.

This is the sort of mistake I make when still up at 6:30am, cursing Jim for making the game so damn addictive.

I think I did it at about 3:00am.

I still haven't gotten over it! (weeps)

I'd shed some crocodile tears for you but some of my receivers seem to have alligator arms.
