Anyone ever fire a head coach by mistake?

i went to hire a new defensive co-ordinator, and mistakenly gave him the head coaching job. he replaced a guy that i didn't want replaced.

any of you ever done this? and is there anything that can be done about it?

In single player, reload a previous save. In multiplayer, once it has been processed by the commissioner, as is the case here, nothing can be done except wait until next year's hiring stage or have the commissioner redo the stage this year.

thanks twothree. guess i have to wait a year...

i don't think re-running a stage because a GM screws up is a precedent any commissioner wants to set....
