This is ridiculous...let's get a genuine 2007 NFL league already!

I was part of the "team" that was trying to get an NFL league established. It didn't happen. I do not have time to commish any longer with my job but I definitely want in a league that offers me an NFL experience using up-to-date rosters/teams as well as using the new 2007 game. This shouldn't be so difficult! I've seen so many people around here posting about a new NFL league. Let's put our heads together and get this moving.

I also start back to my grad classes next week so I will strictly be a GM. However, I am willing to put in some leg work to get things up. I created and previously commished the NFLsim (TPF) and NFL Front Office (FOF2004). I can offer assistance but cannot be relied upon as a full-time commish etc.

Someone take charge. I'll be here to lean on.

To start with we should start taking names, get a website up and running (it's easy to make something relatively attractive) and setup a forum to keep interest moving while we take names. It wouldn't hurt to get a league file up ASAP to allow GMs a chance to look things over.

I'd be down for a real 2007 NFL League as well. No chance I can commish, but I could help run a stage file/draft every once in awhile if needed.

Sounds like the EFL (run by Shakes) is the league for you Mike, the waiting list only has 1 other person on I think. This league is in its first season, week 10, using FOF2007. Website and active forum.

Also, I will say this. I figure in another 2 weeks (EFL sim time) there will be openings (plural). I PMed you once before Mike but you didnt get back to me. Maybe you were busy.

Oh, I thought I did respond. I'm looking to get into a league at either the beginning or during an offseason. I'm not interested in joining a league midseason.

Why not put your name on the list, perhaps by the time it comes up, it will be time for the off-season. Or, you can sit here and wait for a league to form, get all the owners in place, set the rules and you will be ready to begin.

Oh, ha, no not really in much of a rush. I was just seeing if anyone was interested. I've had a handful of people want a team but aside from that, not a whole lot of action. Either way, life will go on! I'm excited to see what Arlie Rahn's new pro football game will look like. I really liked TPF but it needed a revision. Hopefully this will be it.
