I am finally getting around to d/l the client and checking this game out. It is a pirate like game. Supposed to be pretty fun. And the best part is it is totally free to play. I'll Let you know once I play some how it is.

Yeah, I posted the same thing a few weeks ago, but I felt that the topic was pretty unclear. :D

Well Spyware can take a little while at times. Just be patient with it.

Trying to download and failing miserably. I suck at the internets.

The torrent never started for me. I left it open for 30 minutes, and it was stuck at 'connecting to peers'.

i tried the torrent and could never get it to read the torrent file. customer support was no help, so now im just doing it the old fashioned way with "flashget". we'll see if that works.

Played but was not impressed with it.

No way to change the screen resolution was the killer for me. I run a wide screen monitor @ 1680X1050and the game was running at something much lower.

Play was a litle funky at times. Quests were simple with a typical "go here and find item" style. Sailing is fun and I enjoyed combat with others ships until I realized that ANYONE can swoop in and steal your loot after you have fought a tough battle. I get the idea that it's about being a "pirate" but it sucked after having it happen a few times and made me stay away from that part of the game.

You can be hired to work in businesses like a bar. Once hired you just stand there and wait for a set time limit and do nothing. I walked away for 20 minutes while waiting for my hired period to end so I could fulfill the contract and make 400 bucks.

There is a lot of room for improvement and despite being free I decided to uninstall.

I am going to try and get into the Pirates of the Burning Sea beta (hxxp://www.burningsea.com) to see how that plays because I would love to have a cool Pirae based mmorpg to play around with.
