[Raiders Army]

All of you have just joined Front Office Football Central or FOFC as it is more affectionately known. Unfortunately, a user by the name of mrskippy has posted a message that he will take over the message board. The board Admin, SkyDog, has attempted to ban mrskippy but somehow he is unable to do so; he is also unable to determine his IP address. It is established that mrskippy is a duplicate name of a current boardmember and the only way to ban mrskippy is to ban the boardmember who is using the duplicate account. mrskippy has revealed that he is not alone, so it seems as if you have your work cut out for you.

There will be two phases to this game, a night phase beginning at 10:00 PM EST and ending at 9:00 AM EST. The day phase will begin at 9:00 AM EST and end at 10:00 PM EST. During each day phase there will be a vote to ban a member. Whoever has the most votes is banned.

When voting you must bold your vote like so:

Capital letters are not essential but encouraged.

If you would like to change your vote, you may do so at any time up until the vote deadline (which is by the message board’s clock). You must change your vote like so:

Bolding is essential and once again, capital letters are encouraged.

The specialized roles are

SkyDog: The board’s main Administrator and for the purposes of this game the only Administrator/moderator. As the Administrator, you may change the vote for a banning once per game.

EaglesFan27: This boardmember’s intelligence is quite high; in fact, his powers of observation are so keen that once a night he may view another boardmember to see if he is mrskippy or one of his minions.

Hell Atlantic: This boardmember can protect another boardmember from attack once a night utilizing his unnecessarily large genitalia and antagonistic typing tirades.

mrskippy: The head hacker may be able to convert other boardmembers to his cause.

Endgame for SkyDog and FOFC is to eliminate all duplicate accounts. Endgame for mrskippy et al is to equal the numbers of other boardmembers so they can take over the board.

Morning comes on FOFC and a message is posted by mrskippy:

Good morning FOFC! I am back and I will take over this messageboard so I can remake it in my image! Mua-hahahhahahahaha! I will be your new dictator!

SkyDog immediately attempts to delete his message, but he cannot. It seems as if mrskippy has somehow hacked into the board. After some investigation, it is determined that mrskippy is a duplicate account, although SkyDog is not sure who it is. Kodos then posts a poll asking how FOFC should deal with mrskippy: ignore him, ban one member per day, or go trout fishing. The strategy of banning one member per day in the hopes of catching mrskippy narrowly wins over trout fishing and you proceed to discuss whom you should ban.

The game is officially started, Day 1 begins, and the lynch vote is due at 10 PM EST.

Note: I am normally not available during the day because I do not have FOFC access. I will check in at lunchtime (about 2 PM-3 PM EST) and after work (after 7 PM EST).

I'm assuming people are on the honor system as far as conversing outside of the game. As long as they don't discuss the game in any way, it's okay. 3. spleen1015- cast first vote yesterday and today as well. Possible wolf trying to get an early vote in. I do agree with his logic that not all the bad dudes would vote for DC so assuming spleen is good DT is a good option. For now I am willing to trust but if DT comes up good at some point I'll take a harder look.

4. Barkeep49- First thing that stuck out to me was he wanted to keep Blade around on day one when blade wanted to vote himself out. IMO 90% of the time you kill a villegar on day one so why not grant Blade his wish? Blade obviously didn't have a role of importance so. IMO the better strategy would be to lynch him and not take the chance at killing a usefull villegar or forcing a villegar to out themselves day one. This threw up red flags for me and if anyone want to discuss that strategy I would be happy to. Next day he votes GE and creates a tie, then puts up a good defense as to why he did it. He then unvotes GE and votes DC. Overall strange play from him.

5. WVUFan- Just took over for ardent so voting records don't mean much. The fact ardent made sure he got a replacement make me believe he had some kind of role. Ardent missed the day one vote which is something a wolf probably wouldn't do. Voted DC once the bandwagon got going.

6. LoneStarGirl- she said something that clears her in my opinion but I'll keep it to myself. Random day one vote for Blade. A couple of red flags. She makes a comment about wanting to lynch blade. perhaps some showboating? Also she cast the last vote for DC yesterday basicly a throw away.

7. Lathum- i obviously trust myself. I can see why people may be suspicous of the way I voted for Blade night one. My reason was I thought blade was skydog trying to clear himself early. Cast the second vote on DC creating a tie with her and GE in an attempt to create conversation.

8. DaddyTorgo- Voted for alanT day one to "stir him up" kind of an odd play on day one. I am of the opinion the only info you find out day one is info that can help the wolves. again, I am willing to discuss this theory with whovever want to. One of 3 voters on GE yesterday. Post #95 says he is paying more attention to the other game. IMO it is MUCH easier to play passivly as a wolf then a villegar. Casts the second vote on CR. Makes the statement to keep Blade around as a non active villegar.
9. Blade6119/ Saldana- I am pretty sure Blade wouldn't try and get himself lynched if he was an important role. Cast the first vote on DC and went after her pretty good. To aggresive IMO to be a wolf. Pointed out Barkeep creating a ti, another un wolfish move. I trust him for now.

10. path12- Called out DT early, possibly wolf showmanship early on in post 65? claims he would have changed his day one vote. easy to give him a pass after that trainwreck. WVU nailed my thinking on Blade. I couldn't see Blade, no matter what was going on, giving up a bad guy role. This meant, for meta-game reasons which I know can be bad, that I felt he was good. I think it's FAR more suspicious to kill a known likely good rather than some other random person.

vouching in what sense? not in THAT sense. but i understand where he is coming from. i don't think his reaction to blade screams "I'M A WOLF." But I guess that's just because I'm good too, so I know where he's coming from.

In the Tombstone game, if I remember correctly, Lathum provided what appeared to be helpful analysis and he was the leader of the Cowboys. After his big analysis post, I think he is playing the same game this time.

I don't necessarily agree with this. What if the random person is a powerfull role like the seer or BG? then you are either

a. killing a powerfull role day one

b. forcing that person to out themselves day one, essentialy killing them.

I though about what blade was doing in terms of math. I wasn't so much thinking about losing a villegar as much as I was thinking about NOT losing a powerplayer.

we started with 13 players. Take Blade out of the mix because once he voted himself it was obvious he was a plain villegar.

That puts us at 12.

We have 3 powerplayers, duke, bodyguard and seer. That means if we lay off of blade and vote someone else we are leaving a 25% chance of killing a powerplayer on day one.

Personaly I would rather lose the known powerless villegar the take a 25% chance at killing a powerplayer.

my reasoning goes back to lathum's post. he pointed out questions (as many as there can be at this point) with both path and you. and he voted you. so rather than vote path and split it, i decided to put a vote on you and see how you reacted. i'm not wedded to the vote for you at all certainly if something better came along.

(OT: although it sounds like you could really use that "WW Venting" thread that was discussed. don't be upset, it's just a game.)
