NFL fans learned the intricacies of the "tuck" rule. If that had been ruled a fumble, what would the Raiders and Patriots franchises look like today? Would there be any difference in their future performances?
Discuss.

The Raiders would have still sucked.

The Rams would be the team of the decade and Martz would be a genius.

I don't think this would have been the case if Gruden was still around.

I think you're right. Had it been ruled a fumble, I think Gruden would've gone to the Superbowl and won with the Raiders...possibly twice.
But really, this isn't a line of thinking I want to pursue. It's in the past.

The Pats still would have won the game.

He has a mind of his own so he would have been canned anyways. Commitment to Sucking Baby!

Actually, Korky Stewart would have dominated the Raiders, and the Steelers would have won one for the thumb.

Bill Simmons would have written about 2000 more Red Sox and Larry Bird articles.

I asked this very question of a wise old owl.
He proceded to lick on a Tootsie Pop three times, then crunch it.
