Yes, it is. I can't recall or not, but I hope the AI automatically configures these for the AI-run teams. Otherwise, it's just another area for the human player to dominate. Or a lot of work that I don't want to do!

The AI does indeed configure it for it's team... depending on the team's strengths and weaknesses.

Examples: If a team is full of power hitters and no good bunters, they play Earl Weaver style. Walk, Walk and 3-run HRs.
If the team has a weak rotation and a strong bullpen, it's less patient with the starters and have a quicker hook... etc.

Man, will you look at the fanboys who replied to this over at that other board? :rolleyes: In all seriousness, I loved playing OOTP4; getting 5 is a no brainer for me. I tried the demo of PureSim and it may be a great game, but it just didn't suit my taste at the time. I'm really looking forward to OOTP5 and may even give PS another look. :)

I am too big of a Cardnial fan. I will take Tomko in a fantasy league I am sure. I guess that is considered a high risk.

I only played OOTP4 about 4 hours before giving up. I hated the interface it ruined the game for me.

New interface for OOTP5?

The interface is all new and much easier to navigate from what I understand. Hope that helps:)

Well of course I am serious.

I am just one of those people that is unable to look past a bad interface.

Here's hoping version 5 is indeed better. Thanks Dargone for the info.
