Kazakhstan 52, Thailand 1. at the Asian Games Ice Hockey Tournament

Jeez. Before Thailand scored their one goal, their highlight was a Thai player accidentally checking the linesman :) They were out shot 97-7.

Think Kazakhstan coulda taken their foot off the gas after about say, the 20th goal? :D

Wow. So what would be the equivalent to a 51-goal margin of victory in other sports? I'd say about 225 points in football, and around 40 runs in baseball.

I think 250 (football), 75 (Baseball) and 500 (Basketball)

I once gave up 29 goals in 30 minutes as the goalie for my floor hockey team in high-school, so I know all too well what it's like for those poor bastards on the receiving end.

Thailand should have just tried to injure Kazakhstan players. Clearly Kazakhstan was showing them up!

My daughter's poor (pity and quality) indoor soccer team got beat 18-2 last weekend. No practices, about 4 or 5 girls with no concept of what a sport is, let alone soccer, and...oh yeah, they decided about 5 minutes before the game they needed to teach someone how to play goalie.

The bright spot was the fact that my daughter scored both her team's goals. But the psychology sessions are going to cost some big money.
