PING FOFC Racers!

I wanted to get a poll of your thoughts on opening up our racing league to people outside the FOFC community. I've had a couple of contacts about this, and having other sites link up with ours to create a multi league system of simulations.

Would we really be FOFC Racers if it wasn't just FOFCers?

That is a point to consider. The people who have asked me are involved alot more in online racing and other types of racing sims. They found my website and saw the league stuff and thought it was a great thing.

What I'm thinking will happen over the long haul, is that the league will become an entity unto itself. once the Database management system is installed the maintenance of the website will slow to a trickle and allow for more specific descriptions and more racing.

The growth over a long period of time is why I installed the bulliton board on my site, so that people can, in time, track things there specifically. I'm not looking to remove our input from this board, but I'm thinking that at some point the league will grow beyond just our membership here. My biggest fear is that people are going to lose interest and simply stop taking part, another reason I am considering the outside entries.

Above all this League belongs to everyone involved, and I want to manage it in a way that keeps everyone entertained.

Being able to attach an imaginary face to a name is better than no face at all. I'd prefer to keep it exclusively to FOFCers, unless the interest level dies off.
