The account being activated is the last step in the process. The first thing is to post which team you are interested in taking over in the Team Requests forum. You don't have to have a registered account to post in that forum. The steps to become a coach are listed in a sticky in the Teams Requests forum.

Only active coaches have activated accounts due to problems with spambots posting, as well as league security for transmitting files.

Yesterday I posted a link to the FBCB league instead of the BBCF league inside that "is BBCF worth buying" thread, and I always accidently enter the FBCB url instead of the BBCF url... It might be time to join up to the FBCB league again actually, now that I've actually had some time to open the game up again.
