problem with DEF formations-help

I just may be overlooking something very obvious but I cannot go from a 43 defense to a 34. I have the correct personnel but cannot access any NT or ILBs. In the 2004 edition in the def assignments boxes there were noted some as EITHER LDT or NT and ILB or DLT. Using <recommend> and letting the coach assign my def does not give me a 34 either- and the personnel available are clearly better in that formation. Can anybody out there help me with this?

You need to go into the miscellaneous settings of the gameplan and switch to a 3-4 there. Then the rest of the depth chart will have the correct settings.
