I'm going to make this as brief as possible, as I can barely sit up without feeling naseuous.
Saturday night I was assualted, and I've been in the hosptial until yesterday being treated for 3 skull fractures, which may or may not still require surgery.
I've been bed-ridden since then and will certainly still be so for a few more days. Until I again meet with my doctor and a neurologist early next week, it's too early to tell whether or not I'll need some facial surgery to get me back to my ugly old self.
i just wanted to let anyone one here who might be depending upon me for one reason or another know that i won't be around for a while. Hopefully i'll be nearly fully functional somtime early next week.

This was posted in the Indiana VC thread
thanks for the thoughts guys. It looks like I won't need surgery (should find out by the end of saturday), and I've been feeling well enough to walk around and function for a few hours at a time. the dynasty will be back on track in minutes and finished up by thursday.
I really can't speak for him, and he could tell you more, but it seems like he's doing much better:) :) :)

I guess I should get my butt back in the Dynasties forum! I used to follow a lot of threads in there (Indiana VC for one), but I lost track of most of them when I stopped doing mine.

I'm feeling normal, but my trip my last trip to the doctor did bear bad news:
1. I was allowed to go back to work... wahhh! :o
2. I need surgery to repair the bone that makes up my right eyebrow ridge. It didn't heal correctly, so it's indented. Not only is it painful, it's totally dangerous. A blow to my head could do some serious damage. Sadly, they have to re-open the large scar that just finished healing to do this. :(
3. My left cheekbone is broken, and will need to be fixed as well. It's currently pressing on a nerve that makes part of the left side of my face feel numb. (It feels like it's "asleep"). They said they can go through the inside of my mouth to do this (sounds painful), so I won't have any new facial scarring.
This is all supposed to be an out=patient procedure in a few weeks. So I'm back to normal, but things won't be 100% right until my surgery on March 28th.
thanks for the concern!
Ouch, more surgery. Otherwise, glad to hear your recovery is going well!
I don't know if it's good news to you or not, but Indiana whipped Rutgers 41-17 in the 2036 thread of the VC... :)
