The title says it all. You would think most people would dress their best or at least reasonably well when coming to the doctor's office, particularly a psychiatrist's office. However, this frequently isn't the case. Today, a provocatively dressed mother and her 13 year daughter just came to my office for an evaluation and the mother was laughing at something I said when a breast popped out. Interestingly, neither the patient nor her mother seemed particularly perturbed by this event.

You would think this would happen way more often than it does. That's why I love live events on tv...the mere chance of this taking place.

I've come to realize it's a long shot on the nightly news. I did tape the Today Show regularly though in this hope.

Surprisingly, she wasn't. She was concerned that her daughter may have depression and a "learning problem." What is amazing to me is that she never had her daughter evaluated sooner for either of these problems.


It was the right breast and it was definitely a pop instead of a drop.

Mom was in her late 20's, so I definitely felt this wasn't community property, yet. Therefore, I tried not to stare. Mom held her shirt for the next 15 minutes making sure there wasn't a repeat performance which was kind of awkward.

It's a shame that EF27 has already done the "Face the Board" segment. These questions would've been good for that.
