I seem to be unable to turn on a news show/channel/outlet without seeing the story of Anna Nicole Smith and her death. To get away from it, I think it is Disney, and yes it is, with something called the Doodlebops, but I digress.
Have we as a society reached a point where we have too much news programming time to fill that we prop up someone with no talent such as ANS? Do I care why she died? Do any of us?
Look, it is sad when anyone dies early, but if we celebrated the passing of anyone who was attractive at a point, who had no talent, who could have been given a reality show and been made to look a fool, who then took and endorsed a diet aid, well, we could just create another 10 channels for those folks and the news on their passing.
Great, I just gave them another idea....
