Hey you!

I'm in a 7-year running NL-only fantasy baseball league, and we need some new owners to fill in some gaps. We started out on ESPN, but we dumped those bastards last year in favor of Sportsline. As such, there is a fee to play - about $20. Since we've lost a few guys, we are going to be drafting from scratch this year, and we'll be playing with the most basic set of rules:

NL only
Traditional 5x5
5 keepers for next year

We are also going through the process of nominating rules changes, to be voted on in the next few weeks, so if I can get some commitments, you an be part of that process, too.

If you're interested, post here, PM me, or send me an email (in my profile).

If the interest is solid - meaning we get a bunch of people from FOFC willing to play and commit to an ongoing league (read: play for multiple years and put rules in place to make that more fun), then we may be able to start a league of our own. We'll see.

Thanks!

I would be interested. Is there a live draft? Is it a money league or just the sign up fee?

I think I'd be interested as well. Is this league by any chance one in which you set your roster once per week, as opposed to moving it around everyday if you wish? All the baseball leagues I've played in have been geared towards the latter, and I have trouble finding the time to make lineup changes on a day to day basis. I would love to be a in a competitive league where all changes are made on Sunday and rosters are frozen for the week.

I agree, I hate micro managing.

If we change the league (and there are a few owners who want to move this way) to have daily roster moves (within your team) and twice weekly waivers (for free agents), can I count you guys in as potential owners?

I would still join.
