That ranks up there along some of the most hideously designed sites I've ever seen.

word. Somewhere in the middle, it says it comes with a 64 pages manual. At first I swear I read it had just been released for the Commodore 64... :D

The forum there seems pretty wide open. Might be a good opportunity to see whether the developers know anything about horse racing.

This thread is a good reminder that I need to get tickets for Keeneland in April.

Anyone want to come?

I usually make a couple of trips to Keeneland during their spring meet. I'll probably go general admission for the Bluegrass and try to get some box seats for one other day.

Never been to the spring meet. At this point last year, a move to Kentucky really was the furthest thing from my mind. I think we drove up the first weekend of Keeneland to go house-hunting, though, but we were too busy to catch a race. We did get to go to a few October races. For someone who's never been to a horse race, it was interesting and fun.

Well, you popped your cherry in the right place. Keeneland is arguably the most beautiful track in the country (along with Del Mar and Saratoga) and one of my few annual visits (along with Arlington near Chicago and Churchill Downs). Bluegrass Day at Keeneland is great - a chance to see some of the Kentucky Derby runners as the top finishers in that race usually secure a spot in the Derby.

This will be my first visit since they put in the new racing surface and made various other changes throughout the facility (I missed the 2006 fall meet). I'm really looking forward to it.

Yeah, we actually went to the open house before the Fall 2006 meet started and got to walk on the track. First time in decades they had let people on the track. They only had 1 semi-serious injury all meet, and it was on the last day. The track seems to have been favorably accepted. But it was a bitch getting that stuff out of our shoes...

Hmmm... I actually like what I see on the website, at least in terms of "features" they promise. Though, I tend to fall for *all* of these products, only to find that they rarely (never) live up to my hopes.

Hmmm, so far I can't even get the demo game to load properly. Tough early sign.
