Shady O'Grady Rising Star (Music RPG)

Hello all,

I normally don't make game recommendations around here (tough crowd, I know), but after a few days of playing this one I'm going out on a limb here. I think others have mentioned watching this on in the past, but did a search and didn't see anything recent on it.

Gilligames (independant developer) has released "Shady O'Grady's Rising Star" for the PC. It's a role-playing game where you assume the role of a fledgeling rock star and try to make it to the top. I could rave about it (I'm a fan-by, I admit), but I'd rather you make your own judgement.

You can visit the Gilligames site http://www.gilligames.com. The community is small, but growing.

So far, I've found very few bugs...and have found the game enjoyable. Though some of you might like it.

No demo? hmm.. with an indie developer, I'd hope to at least sample it first.

So I downloaded the demo. Any tips on starting out since the game felt pretty repetitive to me pretty quickly.
