I know it's not really a bug, but I think it qualifies as an issue. Would it be possible for one of the next versions to quit automatically switching my players' positions during training camp? FOF2k4 did this, too, and it's always driven me nuts, but moreso since I quit signing draftees until after training camp.
Thanks,
Alan

I think you can fix this yourself -- I satrongly suspect that under "Global Options" you have "Coach Resets Depth Chart Prior to Every Game" checked as "Yes" If you have this setting set to "Yes" when you go into training camp, you have (in the game) given license to your staff to slot players as they see fit, moving guys within positions SLB-WLB, RDE-LDE, LG-RG, and so forth. If you don't want them to do so, just toggle that to "no" at least for training camp, and they will keep their mitts off your players, leaving you in charge of who is slotted where.
Hope that helps.

I think this is as good a place as any to just state again, that there need to be some more options to taylor the game more to the needs of the quicksimmer.
One would be to seperate the "coach resets depth chart prior to every game" and the "coach switches positions during training camp" options.
Another, would be to define a core group of players, a nucleus, that the coach/scout won't touch, if you set the option to "have the staff automatically sign players to fill rosters" to yes.
And a third would be to finally make the "lock" boxes in the depth chart windows and for playing time also work for when you have your coaches run your depth charts.
