I'm a little bit disturbed by this. Now granted they won the superbowl last season, but 2 have 7 (seven!) players signed going into the draft...wow

Somewhat related is the lack of top free agents signed:

This is in 2010 for a generated career (28-80 cap increase).

Any thoughts?

Happens very rarely later in careers, but does happen fairly regularly to 1-2 teams per year around 2009-2013 or so with fictional rosters in particular. I'm guessing the original generated contracts are a big contributor. Increasing cap range early in careers helps, but to me, the limited scope of this issue makes it more of a "grin and bear it" one. I just avoid released players during that time.

Skydog - Thats what I had thought (Originally generated contract). Not a gamebreaker, just more of a bugger to leave good FAs sitting there when they are at a position of need (house rules needed, etc)
