I am in year 2029. Both the 49ers and Titans have now moved to Akron. Seems unrealistic to me. Is there a way I can change the team city's after the game season has already started?

Akron could definitely use two pro teams, right? :)

The year is 2029. In post-apocalyptic America, one city stands strong...

The other thing that sucks now is they both have AKR as their abbreviation. So in player histories, I have no way of knowing if the AKR is for the Akron Titans or the Akron 49ers.
Seems like a bug to me.

So the AI will move teams to other cities occasionally? I thought it was only human players that could do that.
How cool!

I guess they both could have set up the move, without realizing the other team would. "Oh, shit, you moved to Akron, too?"
The Rubber Bowl must be hopping.

No, because the 49ers moved several years before the Titans did.

I was thinking the opposite. Is there a way to disallow AI moves?

Why would you want to do that? Outside of this bug, of course (which I've never seen before), I always get really excited when a team moves its franchise. It's one of the more enjoyable features for me.

I prefer to keep sim leagues as realistic as possible.
Sure, in real life teams may move, but really I want to represent the current real life league as much as possible for the most part.

I don't mind a city having two teams, and it should happen at times (NY, LA). For stat tracking purposes it helps if they're in different Conferences so we can do the good old NY(A) and NY(N). Also, it seems like in all of my FOF universes, every team eventually ends up in Akron. I haven't seen all 32 teams relocate to Akron at the same time, but could you imagine the pressure on the Mayor of Akron to be awarded the Championship Game every year?

Is there any way I can edit the game to put the team somewhere else? Especially if they will all end up in Akron.

Can anyone running into this verify that they were using 6.0d at the time the teams decided to move to Akron (five years before the actual move)?

Yes, it was. In fact, I didn't d/l the game until 02/2007.

As one of the Baltimore teams this is a little bit annoying.
Since the league is historically accurate, I'm thinking of actually moving the Colts to Indianapolis in 1982. :)
