In case anyone is interested...David Letterman apparently had a bad stomach problem when he went into work today, so he had to bail on the show. Adam Sandler was set to guest with Don Cheadle to promote their new movie, but Sandler is taking over hosting duties tonight instead.
Personally, I can't stand Letterman, but will tune in tonight just to see how Sandler handles it.

I was a huge fan of early Sandler; new, serious Sandler not so much. But every time I've seen him on talk shows he's been great, so I have some hope for tonight.

It's kinda rough...you can tell it's not his thing. On the really bright side, Danica looked stone cold amazing!
That is some of the blackest hair ever.

Ya, but I do respect him for trying this. He woke up today thinking he'd be doing a cushy 8 minute interview that he's done a million times, and suddenly he's doing something he's never done, in front of tons of people who tuned in just to see how much he'd suck.

Yeah, would have been just as easy to say no and have them do a rerun. Just saw the very end, so I have no idea what it was like for the most part personally...but you have to respect him for doing it.

I enjoyed it. Some LOL moments for me. I would watch Adam over Jay or Dave, but I prefer Conan.

I almost threw up from all the nervous bouncing around he was doing during his "monologue." I was seriously getting queasy. Once he sat down I was fine.
He did a nice job. Fell asleep after the duet with Cheadle.
