It has been confirmed locally that Tubby Smith has resigned from Kentucky and is headed to Minnesota.

Enjoy...he certainly was a hated man in this town. It wasn't just his performance or expectations. People here hated the style of basketball he had them playing. And the fact that he refused to recruit a local kid named Lofton who kinda turned out OK for some state south of us.

He's hopefully going to be what we need here. Monson always seemed like a good guy, but completely over his head coaching in the Big Ten, and the team wasn't running anything that had any resemblence to a real offense.

He's hopefully what's needed to take them out of the bottom of the Big Ten.
