I bet the recent events are causing mass orgasmic responses in lawyers across the nation.
The club deaths in Chicaco (I think it was Chicago). Even more of a shame since it was a stampede that was out of panic over something that wasn't a serious threat. Not to say that being in the area of the spray wouldn't be bad enough to cause the panic with all of the other things going on now and possible terrorism but it's one of those hind sight things.
The club deaths in Rhode Island. Interesting battle of blame going on now. But I think the owners just hit a major speed bump with all of the videos coming in now showing bands using pyrotechnics for several years now at the club.
The girl dying from serious malpractice. I feel bad for the family and think they have every right to sue but found one line in the story a bit amusing. It was something to the fact that they weren't going to sue, but then they talked to a lawyer and changed their mind. Their phone was probably ringing off the hook.
Just those alone have probably caused a depost from lawyers the size of lake Michigan.
