SP in a MP "universe"

So, I would like to play a single-player career, but I'd like to take a franchise from a multi-player universe. Not those players, etc -- but I'd like to pilot the "Chesapeake Chitterlings" in my single player career, and face the various rivals that I face in the multi-player IHOF league.

For now, when I try to do this (even after running my macro that loads all the IHOF city and franchise data) I still have my team listed as the "Washintgon Chitterlings" and the rest of the teams are a mishmash of mostly incorrect cities.


I presume this is something I can do, by correctly replacing or copying some file or another into the right location... but so far, no luck. I have even manually gone in and reassigned my own franchise to the city called "Chesapeake" but I can't get that to stick, for some reason.


Can anyone help me out here?

There is a file, I always forget what it is - but I believe it is the citydata.fdt file. I think this combined with the frfoot.fcy/frfoot.fni get you where you want to go.

So, you'd need to get VPI's citydata.fdt file if I'm correct.
