I have a WR that was a starter last year and did a good job, but I drafted a WR that I'm planning on giving his starting spot to. This player is about to head into the last year of his contract and right now he's looking for a long term deal that pays him starting money.
Since he'll be a backup this year I'm sure his contract demands will go down after this season, but will they go down during the season when his stats don't live up to last years?
I'd like to keep him as my #3 WR but if his contract demands aren't going to decrease during the season then it may be best to trade him.
Thanks for the help.
