Ah, another review from jaguarusf. The same guy from Matrix Forums that wrote a glowing review of Max-FB and tried to pass it off as a true 3rd party review.

As much as I've been looking forward to this game, I'll wait until the review base grows a bit bigger.

It's been out for months now. The primaries are a great addition, but I usually stop at the general election as it took significant steps backwards since the last version however.

There haven't been updates in ages, but 80soft says one is coming. I got my money out of it, but will wait for the update to play again.

I'd like to see a political sim like this where you can customize your own political party.

You do that with PF, in the scenarios xml files.

I want to strongly echo that while the primaries are a fun game part, the General Election is pretty broken if you play through the primaries.

Thanks for the scenario info. What about the GE is broken?

Well, he kinda flips out when the University of Memphis loses a basketball game...

Oops, wrong GE.

As I recall, the Republican candidate starts with control of every state except DC and maybe his opponent’s home state.

And something changed with scheduling your day to day activities. Haven't played the old version in quite some time, so I can't put my finger on it, but the whole process just seems more tedious and time consuming. In the GE that is.
