Game Plan Data File error

After spending all morning sifting through and correcting an assortment of problems shifting the game over to a VISTA OS on a new laptop entails, I got 2/3 MPs functioning. It's the third one that I am totally stumped on. I did everything I did with the other games, directly copied my universe file for the league from my computer that it works just fine on to the new machine. Worked through all the file access issues VISTA imposes on you, downloaded the most current league files. I ops checked them on my other computer and they worked just fine. I got all my bat files loaded, shoot I even rewrote them just to be sure. I use the bat, and everything seems fine. I enter the new career, get all new franchise names available. Choose mine, just great. Enter new career, gives me that new file like it should, great. Then I go to open the MP game so I can enter the password for the first time on this machine and I get this error Unable to load game plan data file. Saved game is missing???

This is the first time opening this particular MP game on this computer. I have the same type gameplans loaded in the other universe files when I copied over for my other leagues and had zero problems. Why is it a problem for this league and how can I fix it?

I just recopied my whole set of league files from one machine to the other, the same files I downloaded earlier this morning to each one seperately, and now it works, and really strange, it didn't ask me for the password. So by copying these files maching to machine I was able to load the game for the first time on a new machine without needing to use the password. It did ask for my password on the other two MPs. The gremlins are mighty active this morning.
