We've reached an impasse at work about whether or not this video is real. Any insights? I can't find anything on snopes.

For the record: I believe the diameter of a basketball hoop is 18 inches. We've already measured the hips of the women in my office, and at least two of them could feasibly do this.

You guys really can't figure this out?

I'm trying to avoid ebaum while I'm at work, so I have to ask: Is this the video with the guys flipping the woman cheerleader-style through the basketball hoop? If so, I don't think it looks real at all.

I love that she's holding her head in pain and the guys are all jumping up and down laughing.

You know what? I think the video with the kid getting his leg stuck in the goal is an homage to this one. Yep, I'm really starting to think that. Those kids were really clever, and their video even looked real!

The men really want to believe that we could convince a woman to do this.

The women really want to believe that no woman is small enough to do this.

Thus, impasse.

Looks to me like they are a good distance in front of the hoop.

Drake, your office needs to take a field trip to the gym. Bring a video camera.

I want to spend my days throwing women through hoops...rather than jumping through hoops because women tell me to.

If you decide to go off the backboard make sure you call glass.

Turn it into a game of HORSE like Jordan and Bird did in that old McDonald's commercial.

Are you suggesting they use Tori Spelling?

That's cold-blooded, man.

Paused it at the 18 second mark. There is no way she went through the hoop.

The hoop is clearly behind her.

Means that you can be the first to do it properly.

You can clearly see that the hoop is behind her.

Also, in that pic, her lower back is too far left for it to be inside the hoop.

That is just fancy camera tricks and acting.

Err, I'm not sure that "clearly" is the word you're looking for in regards to that picture.

Yeah, the pic is blurring, but you can still see that the rim is behind her.

Besides, her hips might fit through there, but there's no way her shoulders are going to.

That was done for an ad that I used to see in the theaters. Can't for the life of me remember what the ad was for, though. But definitely fake...

It was a turn off your cell phone ad IIRC.
