I haven't been on the computer much at home lately. My wife will be on a little. Our daughter, 3, will mess around with the keyboard (or loves to type in word and watch the letters appear). I add her in because she may have accidently balled something up...
We noticed this morning, the PC is no longer recognizing the CD (D) or DVD (E) drives.
Under My Computer, it currently shows only A:, C: and My Documents.
Under System Info>Problem Devices I see this-
JLMS XJ-HD166S (device)
IDE\CDROMJLMS_XJ-HD166S__________DTS5____\5&2D5130A6&0&0.0.0 (device ID)
Failure using the VxD loader. (error)
LITE-ON LTR-48246S
IDE\CDROMLITE-ON_LTR-48246S________STS1____\5&2D5130A6&0&0.1.0
41
Anyone have any insight, before I panic and think my CD/DVD are pretty much gone.
Thanks
