I decided to check out the archives searching for some previous NBA draft threads. I could not find one for 2002. So I went looking at some of the stuff prior to the 2003 draft. There was some serious HATE for Lebron James before he was drafted.

Just a couple of examples. I know hindsight is 20/20 but.....

Lebran strikes me as being just another dumb ass jock who was handed the world on a silver plater and is doing his level best to piss it all away.

His mother strikes me as the very typical (My baby is worth 100's of millions of dollars let's see how stupid I can be) mother of just another dumb ass jock.

For all those Lebron James apologists, why don't you tell me why I shouldn't be ripping this kid? It's not jealousy, theres gonna be more than one young millionaire come the NBA draft, but they don't seem to be wearing on as many people's nerves, so that argument is tired. He's an immature kid whos gotten enough slack to hang himself three times. If you stand behind all the greed and flamboyance going on amoung athletes and those types go ahead.

And my personal favorite!

LeBron James will never be more then a Ricky Davis who can make the good pass.

And that is only between Jan 2003 and May 2003.

Just search for my name. I predicted the Panther's super bowl appearance that year in pre-season, and I've run the table so far on the NHL playoffs. Based on that sample size I'm fairly sure I've never made an incorrect prediction.
