Hey guys, just starting to get the details of playing the game, but before I start a career, I was wondering if anyone was close to releasing the new rosters with the 2007 draft choices with thier teams? I thought I had read something about it on another thread but can't find it now.

Back on topic, I would have already been on a roster set, but the last two times I tried, just as I got close... better sets came about! Maybe the wait is on Trent Green...

I can't wait to see what Yabanci and SteveMax have done with the new rosters. I'm pumped to start up the offical 2007 FOF season!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand what the allure of updated rosters is. Why not take the 2006 rosters and the 2007 draft file and do the draft? Sure it's not historically correct, but it's the fun part of FOF.

Done that many times already. :)

I play a bunch of different solo seasons and stop when I get bored. Having the current up to date rosters is something I'm in the mood for.

Right now, I started a career on my birthdate of 1971 with the Ravens.. talk about tough... all 1 year contracts and a terrible team.

Gotcha. It's just that it takes me so long to run a career, I don't want to start over. I started in 1966 with the Raiders and it's not a bad team. Now would I want to start with the 2006 Raiders...hmmmmm....maybe that updated roster would be great!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand what the allure of updated rosters is. Not just you. ;)

I'm in 2037 in my 6.0e career. I don't see any chance of me starting over unless a patch or update came out that made fundamental changes to the nature of the game.

yes, there will be one version for FOF2k7 and another for FOF2k4.

yes, nearly all significant players have been given both an overall rating and ratings for specific skills. SteveMax58 gets credit for most of the ratings. I gave them a second look and made various adjustments here and there.

The csv's will be provided so that you can edit the rosters as you see fit.

The Walgreens file will be available, but not the CVS.

a spreadsheet is used to edit csv files. The player file creator that comes with the game will convert the csv file to an fdt file that can be loaded when you start a new career. If you do not have a spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel is most common), you should download the free openoffice suite (http://www.openoffice.org/), which is what I use. Instructions will be provided when I post the files.

I have been checking this every 15 minutes!

What day (app) will it be ready. You guys are going to make my year. I just bought the game the other day and have already ahd a blast with it.

Even though the computer keeps dropping Romo from my roster. I still have a lot to learn.

What about a draft file for 2008 with this year's seniors, etc? I thought that I had seen one but can't locate it now.

I did that last year but not this year. I don't think anybody has made a 2008 draft file yet.
