What happened to Alyssa’s tattoos?

I am clueless as to why Veet would choose Alyssa Milano as their spokes person and then make her have all her tattoos removed? Are we running out of hot models in Hollywood that do not have Tatoos?

The wrap-around ankle tattoo is the bane of my feelings of tattoos on girls. A well placed tattoo or two or three isn't a negative to me. In fact, I think they make me look at them with a positive light. A bit of a wild side, etc...but the ankle bands just make them look like they're on house arrest or something. And it also ruins the symmetry of the human body.

I think the answer to your question is fairly simple - she's not just a model. Her celebrity status outweighed the tattoo issue. They didn't just want a model, they wanted her. And they obviously paid her enough to entive her to remove those things.

Veet or not, her legs are now touchable.

What the commerical. You'll see they cover her ankles a lot. Shaving cream in on shot, another with her leg in the tug (can't see down to her ankle). When she's laying on the floor, she covers one ankler with her foot.

For the breif moments her ankle tatoos are visible, they could easily remove that in editing. Video editing software makes removing stuff from video just as easy as it is to remove something from an image in Photoshop.
