“I had breakfast with him, and he was fine at breakfast,” Godwin said. “He went to his office, I went to mine and they found him unresponsive.” Falwell, a television

Yes, please get rid of the other one. Mateo starts all death threads around here.

Is it too late to plant a gay prostitute next to his body?

Probably. Indifferent is okay, happy's a little too strong for me.

I think happy is acceptable. He spread a lot of hatred in his life.

I wouldn't exactly say that I'm happy that he's dead, but it's nice that our nation, and the world, just got a bit better.

mmmhmm. but also keep in mind, you're just a wee bit to the right of me. which is fine...i don't say that as a bad thing, hell from knowing you on here, I'd buy you a beer, but just that i'd expect your opinion to fall more towards indifferent (or even a tinge of sadness) while mine would fall somewhere between indifferent+happy.

I think that that's a fair way to look at it.

I never claimed to be a good person, I'm quite cheered to know this piss poor excuse for a human being is gone. The only downside is that now we'll have to listen to a weeks worth of "how wonderful and positive" he was from the throngs of followers he collected over the years.

The man was scum. Good Riddence.

Didn't he once say UFOs were from the devil or they were demons or something like that?

I guess Larry Flint is going to have field day with this.

Could be. I'm also not really the type to be happy at someone else's passing. I think I think about my own mortality too much to find most people's death a cheery thing.

I hear last week he publicly asked God for another year to do his work... Guess he got his answer!

I knew enough about Falwell. Today there is one less person making Christians in this country look bad...

Now if someone could get Pat Robertson and James Dobson to shut up, I might be able to tell someone that I'm a Christian without getting a look of unabashed revulsion in return.

Nice to see MSNBC has some top notch quality control policies in place. Pretty soon they'll be referencing The Onion.

Happy trails, Jerry...
