It's a gravel path to the patio in the back. It's sweet. Wait till you see it.

A year ago about this time, we were packing up the house in Tallahassee. Hard to believe it's been a year already.

It was three years ago this week I moved from Europe back to the US, with another move to get my stuff out of storage in California and moved to Texas. I still have some unpacked boxes from that move. :D

I've been in Wyoming too long. I thought you meant 'packing heat'.

Congrats on the house. :)

We're all moved in, save a few boxes to be unpacked.

Buying a lawnmower and a weedeater today and I'm looking forward to mowing grass for the first time in over 10 years.

A few odds and ends to do around the house.

1. I'll have to repair the doorbell. It looks like a six year old put in the doorbell.
2. The mailbox is barely hanging on it's post.
3. We still have blown bulbs in some of the light fixtures.
4. Cable company has to come out and install cable. We have two cable runs in the house, but the cables do not leave the home. Could be a problem with the cable company.
5. We're going to go through our storage stuff in the basement to see what we can pitch.

Once that's all done, I can look forward to setting up an orange corner in the basement.

Missed the Joplin post. That's probably eh, 4-5 hours I'd guess. Doable.

Hey, AE, you'll be only 658 miles from me. I'll come down one Thursday afternoon, but I'll have to leave kinda early because Thursday is bowling night, and I have to get back home in time.

By the way, I was never very good at "math" or "driving" or "comedy."

Come up on Wednesday, that's when IHOFers play softball. I'm not good. At humor.

Cable? No way I let those fools near my house, Dishnetwork all the way!

Remember: There WILL ALWAYS be something to do when owning a house.

I didn't realize you were that close, but now that I think about it "My-ah-muh" got mentioned at least once this weekend. I'll be back up there for Christmas, maybe we can do something then...
