It always gets busy for me around E3-time, but I don't ever recall quite this many things piling up. There's the usual E3 preparation, of course, that's to be expected.
This time around, though, I'm getting new invites to go places.
Got an invitation to the Playboy Mansion today, although something tells me that Hef and the Bunnies aren't likely to be spending a whole lot of time with the Championship Gaming Series (http://www.thecgs.com).
Still, though. It's the Playboy Mansion. Think my boss would understand if I asked for the evening off?

Do it! Find out where those undergroud caves are... that's where all the chicks are. :)
See if the sick teen angle works on bunnies. Get back to us.

When I was covering games for Gamespy and 3dactionplanet Psygnosis (the year before they finally went under) hosted their E3 party at the Playboy Mansion. My wife saw the invite and pretty much crapped her pants.
I wasn't going to E3 that year but that invite almost changed my mind. :)

Yellow5, I did some freelance work for GameSpy a number of years ago.
When did you work for them?

I worked on Planetunreal right after it launched and was there until we moved the site to Beyondunreal.
Once Pete started running Planetunreal I moved on to 3dActionplanet and did a few things for the mother site. I guess this would have been around... 98? Trying to remember when Unreal came out but it would have been around that time.
GSI flew me down to their offices and made me an offer to work for them full time but moving to California wasn't my idea of fun for the money they were offering.

I went to the Gamespy after party a couple years ago that was at the Key Club, that was pretty fun!
