Which is to say, it doesn't actually hide the spoiler from the thread preview, if the spoiler is in that first line.
Not that that's a huge deal ultimately since we're talking about only the first post out of whatever, but it is surprising that the software that deals with the thread preview doesn't completely ignore whatever's in the spoiler brackets.
