As opposed to an exciting inseam question.

Anyway, I have to order some groomsman pants online for a wedding.

And the pants appear to come with free hemming, which I would rather use than have to pay to have them hemmed after they arrive.

I just measured my inseam as they instructed and came out with 25".

However, based on when I have bought jeans, I distinctly remember my length measurement being 29".

I don't want to end up with pants that are 4" too short or 4" too long.

I am 5'8" with pretty short legs for my frame (and I don't have a sweet jumpshot, all of which pretty much killed my NBA dreams).

So, for a 5'8" guy, does a 25" or a 29" inseam seem to be the right number?

29 is on the short side, so if you do have short legs, that would be it.

25 would be extremely freakish.

I'm about the same size as you, and my inseam is 30.

dola

Also I have no jumpshot whatsoever, although my handle is pretty decent.

The one time I was in a wedding, i went to a local tux place and had them take all my measurements. I cant remember if it either cost me a couple bucks or if they didnt charge me at all, but it was good to remove the guesswork.

Might be an option worth considering.

25" seems a little crazy short to me. Something in the 28-29 range seems more likely to me, off-hand for that height (which is basically the same as mine).

One thing I forgot to mention is that I'm hung like a bull. That might throw things off a bit.

lol, you suck at measuring.

It's easy for you. You just have to remember that you are three apples high.

Yup, usually they'll measure you for no charge...

That was awesome.
