From ESPN.com:

In the first move toward what figures to be the total revamping of their quarterback corps, the Bears on Feb. 26 released veteran Jim Miller, ESPN.com has learned. Miller, who in 2001 led Chicago to a 13-3 record and its first divisional title since 1990, was still rehabilitating from shoulder and foot surgeries. There might be a grievance filed in the case, with Miller possibly asserting he did not have sufficient time to recover. "It's a shock, but I guess the Bears did what they felt they had to do," said agent Joe Linta. The move saves the Bears just $300,000 under the salary cap and Miller will still count $1.6 million against the 2003 spending limit. But the departure of the popular Miller, well-liked by his teammates, also signals that the Bears will spend the offseason rebuilding the quarterback position.

What will the Bears do now? Will they go into the draft for a QB, or will they try to hook up with one in Free Agency?

Big Cat Williams was also released, too.
