I think this may be the ultimate example of something that people will either find absolutely hilarious, or completely unfunny. No middle ground.

I find it mildly amusing.

Back when I was in school, when I had to walk 10 miles, up hill , both ways, to my computer classes, we did something similar in my compilers class (it was for the parsing).

Being the early 80's, we did it in "Valley girl" talk.
