So, we get into Vegas Saturday afternoon. Since we get in fairly early, and want to be conscious that night, we're thinking of relaxing and killing a couple hours in the sports book once we get settled in. Now, in true entertaining fashion, we figure we'll throw down a couple cheap bets on goofy sports/teams while we're at it.

So...I hereby take suggestions. Weirdest suggestion (that you can actually wager on) gets a 10-20 bet on it when I get into Vegas.

Cool props are hard to find in the major sports books (except around major events like the Super Bowl).

But if you're looking for standard stuff, always make sure to check the book at the Imperial. They do their own odds (or at least they did the last few years) so you can often get a much better line, especially if it's longer term longshot stuff like an upset Super Bowl winner.

Pity. Having put down exactly 1 bet at a sports book in my life, didn't really know if they had much in the way of fun bets anymore.

Ive had problems finding places to take soccer bets out there. Dont really consider that a goofy bet but Vegas doesnt cater to the Euro sports very much. Im not talking England conference bets, think AC Milan/Werder Bremen.

So, with that in mind. Id be willing to set you up with some sweet WNBA action although you really dont have to watch it. Thats probably about as wacky as you will find at a lined Vegas book. I also might have a play on the French Open but by that time it will be semis or chick finals. Either way they should definitely carry the lines on those.

Take the Rocky bet...

Saturday Night Tommy Morrison (Tommy Gunn of Rocky V) fights and so does Antiono Tarver (Mason "The Line" Dixon of Rocky Balboa). I plan on betting on both of them when i am in Casino Winsor. I am going with both by a KO.
